Love for someone,

Sorrow is my companion now,
Why do you tears your drowsy?
The happiness you have received,
The realization of the world of sorrow.

Life has listened to me,
Why do you co-exit?
Love you all,
We all hate hatred.

Sorrow is my companion now,
Why do you tears your drowsy?

Everyone broken my heart,
Why do you do me love?
Why do you want us everything?
We have given everything to us only punishment.

Sorrow is my companion now,
Why do you tears your drowsy?
The happiness you have received,
The realization of the world of sorrow.

Black Flowers Bloom

Skies so grey
Heart so blue
Flowers of the past come to bloom
Love has kissed the stems
Pain has poisoned the blooms
The flowers are black as death itself
They speak to no one
Living in a veiled garden of darkness
Shrouded in mourning
Lingering for autumns death to devour them
Flowers in waiting
Clouds dance in anticipation
The coliseum of life has another festival
Of the slaughtered flowers
Crushed back to dust
The stars above
Stare down in silence
Knowing their fate is sealed
In a billion years or so
Death shall devour them too

The Man of the House

You left without saying goodbye
and now I'll never know what it was like,
to have you teach me, eye to eye.
You left without saying goodbye.
Now who will show me how to ride a bike
or chide me when I tell a lie?
You left without saying goodbye
and now I'll never know what it was like.

NOTE: Fictional.

Yet again, another old poem, but have some newer ones in the back-burner. There are so many things to write about, if only one is in the mood and state of mind to organize those thoughts into something tangible and readable.

Journey to the Afterlife - in Blue

Journey to the Afterlife - in Blue

The funeral barge of zaffre and gold sails
as sunlight reflects like ultramarine diamonds
on River Nile. In the shade of a turquoise canopy,
under the bright azure of heaven, Nefertiti lies,
draped in cobalt royal robes, regal
in silent sapphire. Behind cerulean death mask,
her spirit wanders in electric indigo dreams,
through peaceful fields of periwinkle clouds,
to the heart of a lush, lapis lazuli oasis.

With Osiris her soul now comes to rest...
in the deep calm cyan of the afterlife.

Bright Lights

My hands are cold,
lips blue.
Baby there's nothing you can do.
My head is spinning,
blood dripping.
When will I see you again?
Bright lights,
people shouting.
Honey tell them I'm trying to sleep.
Loud crying,
people dying.
Baby please don't let it happen to me.
White light,
Last breath.
People screaming,
Flames beaming.
Ashley you're up next.

There is no spoon

When the sun has set like a ball of fire
colors like a funeral pyre

crescent moon in deep blue sky
indigo blue that sears the eye

crickets start their monotonous beat
praying in the sultry heat

hand in hand and heart to heart
infants waken with a start

old man takes his dying breath
soul escapes his body's death

spiders cross doorways with their web
a work of art so filled with dread

the rapping on the midnight door
the ghost who's there was here before

a child cries out, a nightmare dreamed
realities blur and rip the seams

what may appear as solid fusion
is just an agreed upon illusion.

Shades of Blue

As dawn’s first light appears in eastern skies
and paints the heaven’s dome in hues of pink,
I open sleepy eyes and realize
‘twas but a dream and life is out of sync.

Alone I lay upon this king size bed
where we would share our passions in the night,
and cuddle as we slumbered under spread,
but now these frigid sheets without delight.

In Autumn’s chill the heavens beckoned you,
and angels came to usher you away;
now here behind I’m left in shades of blue,
and seemingly alone in life’s decay.

The sadness from my eye rolls down my face,
and leaves a stain that time cannot erase.

Young Innocence

Sweet dreams, soft and transparent,
Floated like feathers in the sky.
And through them could be seen all that ever was.
Or ever could be.

Naivete', shimmering and shining
With rainbow light.

Unaware of the deadends
And the could have beens
And the dark and frightening
Nights of coming life

Death in Disguise

Pattering rain shattering on grey road
With grisly green umbrella she troad
In a black attire looking ghostly white
Her red woeful eyes sending fearful jilt.

Watery moon painting yellowish lips
Frozen fear dancing on pink finger tips
Her flowing hair sweeping pain of ashes
An orange lamp blinking passing wishes.

Violet blooms falling from whining trees
Covering brown earth - a graveyard in pleas
Ah nature, dull and dreary, standing still
Her fervid eloquence under blue spill.

My canary cage cried a fearful moan
While eyes shifted, into thin air she gone.

My Darling in Blue

For Jay Dee, or Teheine.

I remember the first time I saw you:
Dressed all in brown,
Your hair hanging down,
With a bright splatter of blue.

Suffice to say that my days are all grey.
Without you, it seems,
I’ve lost all my dreams
Here at the end of the day.

My angel, my sweet,
You’ve stolen my heart complete:
Taken it with you to Neverland

Away you did go,
To a place I cannot follow,
To frolic in Neverland

I am happy for you,
My darling in blue
And wish you peace in Neverland.

But know that inside,
Where my heart did reside,
There now hangs a picture of you.

Beyond understanding why

Why are we sanitising gambling,
Why are we legitimising gangs,
Why are we legalising harmful drugs,
Why are we marginalising so many,
Why are we maximising profits,
Why are we criticising anybody and everybody.

Could we not do more prophesying instead.
Could we not do more minimising instead.
Could we not do more exercising instead.
Could we not do more rationalising instead.
And turn everything on its head.

GARDEN OF FAITH

Death disrobes the body of our fancy garments,
And clothes us with more common fashion:
A mere loincloth of sky blue silk,
So that we may feel the warm passion,
Of resurrection’s gorgeous spring
And the spiritual blessings it will bring.

So sleep on calmly with Jesus,
Beneath your coverlet of blue skies,
And know that the summer garden of ease
Will be there when you arise,
Like a lovely blossom given birth
From a shriveled seed in the earth.

An Early Wind

You will go from earth to sky for this sweet reunion.
lie softly Precious Traveler, suffer not.

sleep...

blue Mother Moon shall open an early wind
and gently blow you home.

Some Old, Short Ditties

Some Old, Short Ditties
(doggerel)

I.
Our sojourn on Earth
is of diminutive worth.
Our small time is spent
(and no more are we lent!)
long before we're ready.

II.
Drunkening wine of heady
illusion obliterates thought
and causes confusion.

III.
Fleeting is life!
Fruitless existence!
'Ere any purpose
is completed
life is gone --
and we're defeated!
'

can't hide from war

army, bunking buds
good days, drowning deep before my eyes
never to sleep a sleepless night again
God resting every sobbing soul,
His head up high,
like a horseshoe hanging low,
I remain, lucky!
falling wounds, under my dearest darkest days
no where to go and hide
 Death will find me soon,

Yellow Moon

She watched as the earth fell asleep

Waited for the yellow moon

soft kisses of unfaithful wind..

Images..Images on her head

Nostalgic memory of a forgotten love

Flashes of things she tried to forget..

Her eyes caught the reflection of the moon

locked inside the rain on her cheek..

She was standing alone..

Her grieving heart sought

solace from the moon

She petitioned the stars

Where is he this very night?

Cruel..oh so cruel..

Beneath the silence of the sky

she bowed her head and cried..

Board Games of our Youth B

Been about seven years
since iv'e seen them
hanging like burnt grapes
deep in the throat of memory.
Black tie, black pants. black shoes
to go with the black smile of tomorrow's blues.

Close to a hundred years she lived take or give,
fifty people or so left to live in her wake...
funny little equation
get together over of buffet of death
blue words dance from ice blue faces
ancient hiccups to soothe the ages.

Ashes to ashes dust to dust
the grave digger leans into his spade
we've lingered much to long...
in the blackest of the blackest day

in the backwoods of the closet
to frolick with the puzzle
and board games
of my youth.

Questions

Through fire and rain,
I bear this pain,
Due to my emotional strain,
My reputation holds disdain.

How can I repair it?
How do I begin to feel worth it?
While friends who bear no sins,
Begin filling coffins.

Where do I turn?
I see no bridges,
I have yet to burn,
Only window ledges.

To be or not to be,
Is no longer the question,
To be blind or to see,
Is the question's reinvention.

For some it is as simple,
As standing upon a stool,
To fall and make a ripple,
Or to remain in life's stagnant pool.

THE RELUCTANT GUESt

THE RELUCTANT GUEST

Not proof against the pricks disdained
By the broad impact of petty phil-
Osophy, but sundered when our passions rained
Over our heads, when wish invaded will,

I am part neighbour in this shire of doubt,
That keeps me tenant on the promised crowd
Which you waggishly say will never rout
The insane longing to impact with loud

Music the harmony of sense. Yet I fear
The submerged faculty of my wavering power
Is grief to you, a crutch for every tear,
That springs between us, to endower

Your raving optimist’s cry that you’re a help,
To such as me, a miserable poor whelp.

SEA OF LOVE

Oh sea of love!
How bitter the mem'ries I have!
This place reminisce the pain
Of not seeing my love again.

Your birds up high
Remind me of his goodbye.
Your water so deep
Makes me yearn and weep.

So let your breeze blow,
And dry the tears that flow.
Let your waves take away
The griefs and sorrows that stay.

Oh sea of love!
Erase the mem'ries I have!
Wash them out of the blue,
Take them away with you.

Thoughts of you in blue

The widows
Poignant thoughts
Dreams and hopes
War torn
Distant past
Life's cut in
half
Cubby hole
Spiders web
Sitting all alone
Crazy maze
In a daze
Life stood still
 that
Very day
Days of bluesy
Jazz tunes
Miles made me
Smile some
Blowing solos
During
Halfmoon at
Halfmast in
Contrast
Still lifes
Ecthed in
Black and
White
Details of
Long ago
Brought back
To life again
Once
More..

Blue Winter Death

within
the womb
of silent death
where Summer tree's
sway no more

we search each cloud
in muted
promise
in hope
a dream shall climb above

where silent hearts
as blue as death
crawl beneath
a vale no more

I scream of Summer
a hymn of love
And run beyond the wind

before the chill
of night
consume....

within the womb
of silent death
where Summer tree's
sing no more

Dark Blue

Eternity is unflinching
and on the day of his last entry
the day he died
in a small room
dark blue,
he had no thoughts of coming days.

young man,
you did your time
in a prison,
did your time in the grip of malignant delusions,
no escape from the voices in your head.

May your ashes of shame
your final expression,
rest in peace for ever and ever.

Lost A Best Friend

One you call a best friend,
whom you truly depend,
Never intend on something bad but defend.
But at last, you come to a conclusion that it was all a pretend.
Years of friendship comes to an end.

Friendly Fire

I took my arm i wore my shield
Got Sown in the unknown field
In the name of peace we stand
Playing a role we do not understand
Anthems of the flock ringing in my ears
They all do not know but have been told
Noise of agony filled my hearing
Scenes of doom tore my being
I see visions of my abandoned home
O son will i ever see you grown?
Pulled back for an instant..
Keep on marching before they get you whining
Brothers in arms were we?!
Friendly fire got me..
