A Loan From Above

A loan from above
by Lawrence M. Nunez

Dear Lord I loved her so
and it hurt to see her go
it pains my heart
to be ripped apart
words cannot express
this deep distress
somehow I know
I have got to let go
for she was just a loan
from the angels you own

the pain is so deep
it is difficult to sleep
they say it will be okay
healing is on its way
but only you can heal
the topsy turvy I feel
I know deep inside
with you she now reside
for she was just a loan
from the angels you own

My Final Goodbye

My Guardian Angel,
If I could get a warning,
Before God came to take me to Heven,
I would wake in the morning
Right about seven;
Get down on my knees to pray
And then I would wake you.
Knowing that this is my last day,
I realize what I've always wanted to do.
Looking into your eyes,
With my head on your chest;
I have never been good at goodbyes,
But I let you know that I feel truly blessed;
I have cherished these years.
Before I fade away into the sky,
I will wipe your tears
And tell you "bye-bye".

I Hear The Master Calling

I HEAR THE MASTER CALLING

Come my servant, I am waiting,
In the light of God's own Son.
Do you believe the promise given?
Do you believe He is the One?

When the Master calls, will you be ready?
To be with Him in heaven's land?
He only asked that you believe him,
Just reach out and take His hand.

You've toiled long in His vineyard,
Your faithful life has been observed,
You've served Our Lord with love and honor.
You've studied hard and know His Word.

Your reward is waiting,
When you cross the shore.
So come my servant, home to Jesus,
You've earned a rest, to toil no more.

TRIBUTE TO DAD

I remember when I was a little girl
I used to go everywhere with you
You used to always make me laugh
And from that my humor grew.

You worked so hard to provide for us
     But always managed to smile
You would spend quality time with us
If only for a little while.

   When God called you home
He knew he was sending for the very best
 And we will always remember
You were and always will be a cut above the rest.

vacation in paradise

When I travel on, to what's next.
After laying my body, down to finally rest.
Don't be sad. For I am not forever gone.
I'm just on vacation, not accepting phone calls.
When it's your turn, to enter paradise.
I'll be there to greet you, with arms held opened wide.

Destiny

The smell of death is overwhelming
not knowing which destiny to choose
leaning more towards the dark
almost wanting to swallow me whole
and the only thing holding
me into light
the stinging cold on my bloody wrist
the pain inside is slowly numed
my destiny will for soon be chosen.

Out

I'm out of luck
I'm out of time
And all the while
Out of my mind
I've gone into
The stretch on night
But when I re-enter the scope
Of reality and realize
No matter that I do
I put everyone out
Even though I
Am always doing things for you
You don't care
Why should you
After all my heart and soul
Mean little to you
It's getting to the point
I just don't care
I've lost all determination
I'm out of patience
Get away
I'm gone
I'm out.
