ISIS

You can behead an unarmed man
You can rape a defenseless woman
You can blow up an innocent child

You can burn a book, or 1000's
Attempt to erase history
Spit on the culture of mankind

Here is what you will never do
You will never catch Charlie Brown
Or behead Allah the almighty

You are an army
Of no hearts
Of no heads

The army of the evil living dead

A Nation in Need of God

With vile intensity hatred infiltrates the hearts of men, turning brother against brother, friend against friend, dividing our once great nation. Right is wrong; wrong is right. Confusion reigns as wisdom flounders and hatred's vitriolic verbiage tears down and destroys trust and unity. And all the while, Satan is dancing with glee on the ashes of our hope, and the soul of our nation weeps. O God, save us from ourselves! 2/2/17 Entered in John Hamilton's Upside Down World Contest Tied for 2nd place

The Hands of Pain

My soul pounds with rage.
This heart has been scorched,
by your burning words.

My soul gasps for light
slowly suffocated,
By your hands of pain.

I bare the mark of shame.
Your touch has maimed my body.
My mind drowned out my screams.

Blow by blow,
Shamed so low.
Never did you know how,
Your hands of pain marked me.

Ashes

Ashes fall like tears of weeping angels to the ground.
Lives were lost and will never be found.

It was when war approached in her heart without a sound.
If she couldn't burn the grief, she would release hell upon this town.
She wore her aching pain like a goddess in a flaming gown.
A queen dressed for battle, she left only her bloodstained crown.
Then her hellish fire was raised burning everything - everyone around.

"Ashes, ashes!"
Were her last words,
"We all fall down."

Role Reversal

Am I wrong to ponder Just how inconsiderate we are From where we used to be Today we think we're stars Trust me we're no twinkle In anybodies eyes, frankly Internally we should despise Simply look how we treat the innocent When they'll never produce our whatever Meaning means that Inhumane, as humans sever Lets just close our eyes Whilst role reversal plays When a Gorilla tells you what to do Do you have the balls to say nae Will this ever happen What humans dreams becomes I truly hope their dreams come true Evolutions succumb

Leave the hate behind

Don’t judge me by the colour of my skin or the name of my god .
They don’t not define me, or give you rights to say if I live or die.
They are set in stone an accident of birth.
One of gods little gifts to human kind.
Patriotism and religion, cause so many to die
For the sake of a flag or a deity of old.
Heart ache and tears is all you create
And more of the same when nations retaliate.
Let go of your bias free your heart of the hate
Bombing children at concerts , oh what a waste
You should have Grown some compassion, some love of mankind.
Leave the hate behind.

Hidden Emotion

Even though I may look happy
Insinde I am still depressed
You go by what you see not think
My saddened soul begins to sink
I hate this world, I hate my life
Tears of blood I grip my knife
I think of how my world will end
But yet I still cannot comprehend
I chose my fate, but did I lie
Leaving this world I will now die...

SELF INFLICTED

Tongue lashings are bitter
  they hurt and injure
Gnawing at both the heart
  of victim and abuser
With each hostile strike
  both hearts bruise and deaden
Hostility a most deadly poison
  injected as cheeks redden

No word of a lie striking a chord
You live by the sword you die by the sword

The Angels Wept Tonight

Sam dated Sandy, things were fine and dandy
Born into middle class means, they were killing that high school scene
One afternoon in Sandy’s bedroom their play went all the way
And the Angels wept that day

Sandy felt that they would marry, though Sam soon had his eye on Sally
Now Sam chased Sally, soon after that it was Allie
Sandy, Sally, and Allie; to Sam they were no more than tallies
And the Angels wept at this reality

Now across the nation, we can find these relations
Occurring in high schools from Bangor to Bakersfield
Thus, today another voiceless soul was ripped away as a right
And the Angels will weep again tonight

I Don't Need Drugs

The only thing that is in my bong
is my gift of poetry and song.

Drugs are for thugs
that's hell in a nutshell.

I don't smoke
and I've never done coke.

Believe me
I know that I don't always tell thruth
and that I like to lie.
There has been enough brains fried.

Poet till I die.

Dedicated To All The Victims Of Addiction.

9-11 Remembered

The wound (Haiku) 2014

A deep gaping hole
newly covered with scar flesh
a cemetery

the reflective pond
the bright thirteen year old trees
the lost souls still there

the money-men charge
fees to visit our worst time
Ah, America!

Angels

I live where angels fear to walk
Don’t ask questions, no one’s gonna talk
Another kid’s innocence is being take
Their thirst for blood will never slacken
Love is something only found in a fairytale
But those don’t comfort, when home is spelled H E L L
Left alone for days on end
Nothing else to do but play pretend
Trying to get lost in a dream
But when that doesn’t help, all you can do is scream
I’ve called the devil by his first name
His eyes are cold, mine are the same
I live where angels fear to tread
By the time you find me, I’ll probably be dead

To Lose Someone You Love

To lose someone you love....
Its like trying to live violently among the peaceful people who are dying
To lose someone you love....
Its like Im living in lies with laughter and happiness while Im truthfully sitting in anger and pain while crying
Im grounded in shame yet Im still airborn with death together we flying
Its hurts when one dies past groundshaken proximity under the hate but sent with earthshattering love above
where we live to die yet we are born to survive where we bred to learn to get past all the ones we have lost with hate because ITS REALLY HURTS TO LOSE SOMEONE YOU LOVE.

Never Take Hate Outside

When you're hurt inside,
And there's no where to hide,
And there's no one on your side,
And it's killing your pride,
Inside,
Never take hate outside,

When your heart is chocking,
The heavy words never spoken,
The things that hurt you inside,
When love has died,
Inside,
Never take hate outside,

When your heart is gone,
From being alone,
And it beats a solemn tone,

When you're cold inside,
It's only a short ride,
Never take hate outside

Gone But Not Forgotten

I remember it now
Not all, but enough
To understand how
I am afraid to accept love

Because some love hurts
Especially the kind you gave
The kind nobody deserves
The kind that plants the seed of hate

It matters little if you feel remorse
Your guilt could never ease my pain
The damage you did cannot be reversed
I still wear the residue of shame

And you will never have my forgiveness
My hatred will be your only companion
As you lie upon your deathbed
Feeling frightened and abandoned

You still won't even have my pity
Pathetic as you are
All you will ever be is what you did to me
As I will always bear these ugly scars

Family Matters

In the attic, above wooden floor,
through the hallway of psychotic, locks upon my door,
near the broken window and glass of the sore,
hiding in the shadows,
bloodstains on the wall.

 Number nine,
house at the end of the street,
where lights are low,
where silent never sleep.

Lost A Best Friend

One you call a best friend,
whom you truly depend,
Never intend on something bad but defend.
But at last, you come to a conclusion that it was all a pretend.
Years of friendship comes to an end.
