bereavement, loss, love,
Walking aimlessly through the woods
Searching for that spot we once stood
Pouring out my heart and my tears
Reliving memories of those special years
Red and orange and purple from green
Rich autumn colors, a sight to be seen
The winds of change quickly blowing in
With it a new chapter will soon begin
Not ready to give up, I can't let go
Where am I headed, where will I blow
Lost without you, what am I to do
Darling, my heart is still beating for you

death
A heart outlined in steel.
Designed just so i'll never feel.
It's way too late to get off this ride.
There's no one in which I can confide.
Falling down.
The screams like thunder.
Into lost dreams and lies I plunder.

have you ever felt like
the flashing red light on the roof,
lonely as ever
visible at night, useless by day?
in sync with its partner next door
for a quick kiss over a few flashes only
then arguing again and again
night in, night out.
have you ever felt like
the flashing red light on the roof,
not signaling a warning to keep away
but sending a call for compassion?
using the dark pauses in between
to yell the same name
over and over and over
into the emptiness of each night.
have you ever felt like
the flashing red light on the roof,
being your silent cry
only heard by your eternal love?

death, love, me, me,
Stabbed in the heart, I’m starting to bleed
I’m becoming cold as the touch of death
Yet I don’t want to say goodbye
Painful word, insane cry, sweet goodbye
Pain pounds on me as I bleed
Thumping me until I reach death
Life is being drained by the angel of death
Forcing me to say goodbye
Suffering the more I bleed
Yet even as I bleed to death I refuse to tell you goodbye

bereavement, death, son,
Do others think of you the way I do,
the embryo that grew beneath my heart?
There is so little proof you lived . . .
a metal marker on a grave,
a lighter, a wallet
that they gave . . .
two certificates, official,
like parentheses -
beginning,
end.
I sometimes see your friends . . .
on those days,
you seem alive in little ways.
Do others think of you the way I do,
the boy who grew into a man,
unspoken dreams, unfinished plans.
There is so little proof you lived . . .
some childhood books
and art, and yet . . .
how deeply marked
your living carved my heart.

change, death, family, future, heart, heaven, hello,
Forever my BFF
Your heart
Your smiles
You cared, when others wouldn't
You are one of a kind,
No one here will ever come close, to the beauty from your heart
Linda my bff, I miss you, and I wish you were here
You made this place a better place
You made this place shine
One day my friend, I will see you and again,
In a place, where you are the Angel
Welcoming me' for a second time,
Holding the door to another home, as you did here on the soup.
I love you my BFF Linda-Marie.

people are like stars,
some are younger,
some are older,
some are brighter,
some are darker,
some are bigger,
some are smaller,
but in the end we are all the same.
all together.
shining bright with our personality.
dont care about what other people think.
its their own opinion.
be unique,be you.
you are who you are, and who you are is all their gonna get.
so shine like a star!!!

angel, child, daughter, death, imagery,
I saw her near her gravestone
and her image made me cry.
She had the long flowing hair
of a young girl barely grown.
And seemed to float in the air
as light as a gentle sigh.
In the guise of my daughter,
an angel comforted me.
And refreshed my grieving heart,
like a cool drink of water.
And yet, grief tore it apart,
realizing it could not be.
Mesmerized by her profile,
I wasn't sure what I'd seen.
The spirit soon slipped away,
wearing an angelic smile.
And only appeared that day,
never again to be seen.

death, love, heart, heart, love,
Where two once stood, now one alone
Left to journey on their own
Gone the love they chose to share
Dashed in the ashes of despair
A heart now turned to stone
How for this loss will I atone
Survive without the love I've known
One broken heart beyond repair
Where two once stood
The petals of our love have flown
Upon deaths winds loves seedlings sown
The remnants of a life stripped bare
One lonely soul still standing there
Where two once stood

death, life, love, wifeheart, heart, love,
How Blessed is she, to be with Thee
My only Prayer, she waits for me
With clouds in the sky, I sit and Cry
Why so young, did she have to die?
My Broken Heart has LOVE denied
I remember her kiss, A Heavenly Bliss
The love in her eyes, I intensely miss
I reminisce of Forever LOVE, so pure
Her Heart of gold, shall always endure
A Broken Heart, Her LOVE is the cure
Softly singing, are the Bagpipes and Fife
In Honor of my Dearest Most Beloved Wife
Living the joyful fulfillment of Eternal Life
FOREVER and ALWAYS I whisper my LOVE
Until We Entwine again , in HEAVEN Above

death, love, heart, heart,
Death is not death but a mask of great love
That protects us from pain in archived dust
Where vanity veils and desire dreams lust,
And the spirit's retreat is safe above.
Behind the mask like wings of woodland dove
A heart still beats, and footsteps break the crust
Of memory with shadows of her bust
Along the staircase of time and true love.
For love is eternal and cannot die,
Though a heart may pine itself bare to bones;
The soul that loves forever in the eye
Of God, a kindred spirit life enthrones.
The mask that fools the jaded mortal eye
Is but fickle flesh cradled on our bones.

lost love, loveheart, heart,
Twas a laugh a minute, a cry a day,
Then you found her, and she took you away,
The days are now weeks, Seconds now gone,
The music stopped playing on our love song.
She now has your smile, your touch and your laugh,
How much I miss you, you don’t know the half.
Never have I felt such pain in my heart,
Than when your with her, and not in my arms.
I see you with her, tears well in my eyes,
I watch from afar, my heart breaks inside,
But I had you once, and I let you go,
Now you've replaced me, and I am alone.
I learnt my lesson, I learnt it hard,
Now and forever my heart will be scarred.

death, funeral, loss, philosophy, sadheart, heart,
As my heart feels the pain we’ve been through
~I cried
As my eyes remembered the way they looked at you
~They cried
As my mind reminisces on the good and bad times we have had
~It cried
As my soul misses your soul and my heart misses your heart
~ My Spirit cried
Knowing we will never be able to laugh together again…..I screamed
But knowing that you will never cry again….I laughed
NOTE: Even though you’re gone. I still have your goodness inside of me and that helps
me smile… Therefore, I laugh…

When When Then Yoga
When
Your downward dog is barking and
Your cat pose is meowing and
Your tree pose is swaying and
Your cow pose is mooing and
Your cobra pose is striking and
Your sphinx pose is speaking and
When
Your child pose gets naughty and
Your warrior one gets shot and
Your warrior two goes down and
Your corpse pose stiffens.
Then
Your yoga journey ends.

death, heart,
Three pummels to the chest
abusive words wound the heart
slashes though sutured, never heal
daggers thrown without a second thought
Arrows fly to their target
three aimed to pierce the heart
a struggle that is far beyond measure
what pain do you feel; what tears you apart
What weapons do you use
when you strike a fragile heart
life lies in danger at the hands of men
three strokes of a brush, death is a work of art

A BROKEN HEART
How many people die a day, and
And how many loved ones mourn,
How many lives change in a day,
And how many hearts are torn!
My heart was torn,
My life turned inside out,
I watched the man I loved,
Fight,
His cancer,
With all his might,
But he died and I cried!
A tall, proud, handsome man,
Brought to rest,
At his best!
I miss you dad ,
And I feel sad,
But one day we will meet,
In the hallways of the sky,
Then we’ll no longer need
To cry,
For in these many passages high
Above in the sky,
With an over whelming joy,
We will also see Alan your
Grandson, and my baby boy!

death, devotion, introspection, loss, people, philosophy, heart, time, heart, me, time,
A loved one has passed to the other side,
Within my heart there to abide.
I know one day they'll be reborn,
That's why there's no reason for me to mourn.
Even though you've gone away,
In my heart you'll forever stay.
Next time around we'll meet again,
You may even be my closest friend!
From time to time I miss you still,
In truth I know I always will.
You've shown me love, laughter, and fun,
That I'll pass on before my time is done.
Death is not something that I dread,
Starting a new life is what lies ahead.
And when it comes my time to go,
I'll still send love to those I know.

life, loss, philosophy, sad, sympathy, heart, heart,
They told me..forget it..!
They confused me..
They ordered me...
"Control your thoughts.."
Whenever I see flowers...
My heart leaps with joy..
But when I reach near...
They wither.............
Whenever I see babies...
My heart leaps with joy..
But when I reach near...
They cry.......
Whenever I look in mirror,
It frightens me.........

death, loss, lost loveme, heart, heart, leaving, love, me,
My Heart is torn out, beats it's last and then no more,
My love stands over me, as I lay on the floor.
She did it, She Killed me, by leaving me a broken man,
Assasinated by my Lover's hand.
She once filled my heart with laughter and song,
She once comforted and loved me all the day long.
Only secretly cavorting, a plan to steal,
To destroy, to rent out, all I could feel.
It is torn out, beats it's last and then no more,
My love stands over me, as I lay on the floor.
She did it, She Killed me, by leaving me a broken man,
Assasinated by my Lover's hand.

death, devotion, inspirational, life, loss, visionary, heart, heart,
Exuberant with an abundance of new youth,
A heart so fresh, so full of light,
Grows dark and begins to write,
It sees through the lies it knows the truth.
Its soul loves God; with him it confides, breaks bread,
The soul keeps its heart and continues to pray,
Until the day the heart converted the soul to grey,
Pain unfolded, for the human they held, was now dead.
