The Caterpillar

Every word I recite, sit down and just write
Comes from a place within and that is my right
To display, I don't play I take this to my heart
A cleansing, no suppressing, should've been done from the start
My own soul, I can control, no need for a fight
The goal, like a foal, is kind of out of sight
One day I will say, the point will go to me
Till then I will fight each day endlessly
Caterpillar to butterfly, I deserve to fly
Destined to die but I try, floating gently in the sky
Even if just for a while, I at least got to smile
Be it 100 or 1 I just took it mile by mile
