FROM DEATH TO LIFE
HIS FLESH
circumference of thorns
holes in hands ~ those healing palms
feet fastened – nail chains
HIS WORDS
Father forgive them
for they know not what they do
(And) It is finished
HIS DEATH
violent earthquake
up from the grave ~ walking dead
wind-sheered curtain splits
THREE DAYS
abysmal weeping
terrified person denies
the **** crows three times
EASTER SUNDAY
empty gaping hole
world’s paying attention now
dawning of new day
EVERY DAY
spurs our hearts and souls
salvation’s glorious hope
King of kings ~ all bow

CXXIX
A truth could not my heart unfathom why
How by the death of One who cannot die
That such a sinful mortal live for aye
With blood stained hands my guilt He sanctify
All hail the worthy lamb though priceless slain!
God's only Son, most perfect without blame
Such grace I undeservingly obtain
My hell and pain He suffered not in vain
With joyful grief I bind with altar cords
My fainted heart pierced by thy holy sword
Till it breaks out with songs of loving words
Of praise unto my King and Lord of lords
That day shall come when all would cease from strife.
And so as Thee will I be raised to life

Judas betrayed Jesus’s whereabouts
End, was near
Son of God, knew this
Universe of the Son of the Divine Father, restored
Sins of man forgiven, Prince of our Universal domain, alive in the hearts of his children

Work.
Toil.
The pain I put in the ground.
For such a precious thing.
Corn.
The family enjoys their meal.
They plant their leftover kernels.
And wait for me to tend to them.
Work.
An endless cycle in which happiness is born.

(A Purpose So Clear)
Like children we fear
In secret a somber tear
Like learning to walk
Babies listen to talk
And reach for a hand
To help them stand
This too, we all must do
By HIS Hand made anew

angel, bereavement, best friend, celebration, easter, friendship, love,
I KNOW I SAW HIM YESTERDAY
HE SPOKE TO ME OF LOVE
"IT COMES WITH A FRIEND"
HE SAID."ONE FROM UP ABOVE".
THEN SOMETHING HAPPENED
WITH HIS HEALTH
QUIETLY HE PASSED AWAY
RELATIVES AND FRIENDS
WEPT AND PRAYED
FOUR DAYS SEALED
WITHIN THE TOMB
WHEN HIS BEST FRIEND
CAME TO SEE, MANY TEARS
HIS BEST FRIEND SHED.
THEN IN A LOUD VOICE
AND THANKFUL PRAYER
CAME TRUTH, WITHOUT A LIE.
"COME OUT MY BROTHER
FOR YOU WILL LIVE
AND NEVER SHALL YOU DIE".

animals, death, red,
She was in her prime,
Her slender body
Is still intact, no wounds but
Her mouth –
It is open and her teeth
Are red . . . red and jagged,
Like an impaler’s spikes
On which many a tiny creature
Has squeaked its last.
Blunt grey eyes stare ahead
Still, not comprehending,
But blindly aware of something.
Perhaps someone should move her,
Throw her into a dustbin
Or into someone’s garden.
The unheeding traffic
Has completed its task
And sweeps blindly past.

Here lies McPuss,
Hit by a bus.
Requiescat in pace.

Crucifixion
Your sweating Bode layed on the cross
the nails and hammer bright
the Cruxer sets it on your limbs
through flesch and bone he strives
Your body winds in pain and gasps
the muscles cramp in flame
onlookers claps with fun no shame
for them its all a game..
then when they lift the cross with you
you know that is the end
but still some hours Agony
no help no mercy sent..
They mocking you and having fun
your mind is letting go
the blood drops constantly DOWNWARDS
for them its all a show..
when finaly your soul gets out
you see them standing there
aroused and hyper oh my god
you lift up through the air..

anniversary, courage, death, easter, history,
And if I come
I'll bring the dew
Blended with cruor
Of our veins
And if I reach your hand
I’ll become the tugboat
Of dignity and pride
Preserved with countless lives
Then... If I fall
I'll be the victor (anyway)
By sacrifice of blood
I'll bring the Happy Easter
To those
Beneath the coat
Of diminishing faith
a note
against the rhapsody of hate

animal, death, easter, easter, easter,
Oh my gosh it’s almost Easter
Time to get off my fat keister.
To buy a dozen eggs, or more
Coz now there’s five kids over four.
And one of them always cries
Painting eggs with stupid dyes.
I almost forgot the candy bars;
Who needs new brakes for the cars?
I don’t have time to talk to you
Where are the peeps or poops or pooh?
And then I’ll stay up way to late
Hiding eggs for Pete Rabbit’s sake.
I got to get all this stuff done
To make the holiday more fun.
But someday I’ll be all done with
This crazy Easter Bunny myth.
Wait! I’ll save a pile of money
By killing off the Easter Bunny.
And lay him down in a casket
On plastic grass from a basket.

easter, grief, spring, spring,
Eastertide.
A cloud of polished steel hangs over
The village, hollowed eyed people
Look up to the sky
Where is spring this year?
Like the man on the bridge they can
take no more.
For Paulo, the old carpenter it was
all too much, no wine could still his angst
of not seeing another spring and
his nightly screams echoed till dawn.
Dogs barked his time was over
hanging in the shed between his tractor
and work-bench.
This shook the village out of stupor
No more waiting for what may never come,
a pig was slaughtered its blood an offering
to life itself.
The feast lasted for days.

The truth of the matter is that the “I doubt it” label has always been assigned to me; but in reality, I and all the Apostles doubted.
Hopeless, fear, and doomed were the highly charged emotions that we all felt.
Over and over, he taught us about his resurrection; but we did not understand.
Multitudes were fed; mighty miracles were performed; but no one could help him.
After his death, we were in hiding, because we thought that we would be next.
But absolutely everything changed when at
Sunrise, the world’s greatest surprise arose, and lit up the skies of our frightened hearts!

faithmother, father, death, people, easter, death, father, mother, people,
He growed to be a shepard and a man of faith and hope.
He healed the sick and feed the poor and taught people to cope.
A mother cried for the death of her son.
But to our heavenly father he had won.
He walked and taught Gods word to all mankind.
The people that he saved his words did not mind.
A mother cried for the death of her son.
But to our heavenly father he had won.
He was nailed to a cross and he died for our sins.
Buried in a tomb and in three days he rose again.
A mother cried for the death of her son.
But to our heavenly father he had won.

Easter
It has been long Friday all day long it started early around five
in the morn and lasted til nine in the evening.
Not only was the day long streets were full of traffic
of drivers who wanted to go on holiday and
the air was foul of spent fuel and the anger of
those who had forgotten why they had been given this vacation.
mind the survivors on the blood road that leads
from Lisbon to Algarve
will not have the presence of mind to give thanks to providence.
Now that it is Easter it is interesting to notice that in Venezuela there
is a revolt by the elite against the poor which the Saviour gave his
life to defend….c´est la vie.

MY 2 CENTS THEME FOR EASTER 2015
Love got spat upon
Today;
Peace peed upon:
Got in the way.
Only one tear fell
Fell to the ground;
But the shooting was so loud
no heard the tear's sound.
So on the bright morn of this Easter Day
We kneel and pray
Because He's risen
But no one has anything to say
On this Resurrection Day
About the lives the children have given:
Forgive me for any offence
For expressing my two cents on such a blessed day.

He Died Upon the Cross
By Franklin Price
4/16/2017
He died upon the cross that day
Upon Golgotha's hill
To atone for all our selfish sins
Believe it happened if you will
Believe He rose again from death
Easter morn so long ago
Divinely rolled the stone away
Rose again for us to know
Met with His disciples
His followers and such
Even doubting Thomas
Who had to come and touch
Told them to go and spread the word
Of what happened on that day
The Savior died and rose again
To take our sins away
Was taken up to heaven
To meet His Father there
If we believe then we can join Them
The great promised land to share

On the Easter weekend after WW I began,
When the religious Irish had their mind on god,
They concluded that life and death, the ban,
Was not the British’s, but theirs to span or fraud.
It was an armed insurrection against the gov,
Of the Irish Republican Brotherhood Military Council,
Made of the Irish Volunteers intending to shove,
The Ulster Volunteers who objected to home rule.
The Brotherhood won in 1922 when South Ireland,
Became independent from Britain very completely,
With 26 counties becoming ruled by their own hand,
And not Westminster of London city very distantly.

Roadway Surprise, an Easter Story
Hello. My name is Cleopas.
There’s little of me to discuss.
But as I and my friend walked,
We had a very serious talk
As we moved along the Emmaus Road,
We were feeling our world had folded.
The Jesus case was now closed;
Or so we thought; because he arose.
We were sad, because we had hoped. Now, we were just trying to cope.
Suddenly, Christ appeared and walked close.
At first, it seemed a stranger to us had spoke.
How would you feel if you were among the first?
We were taken by surprise; but Christ quenched our thirst.

death, holiday, easter, easter,
This season, the Easter Bunny was running late.
He made a bad decision that sealed his fate.
Nobody can say that his choice was good.
He took a shortcut through a low-income neighborhood.
Some young hood carrying a switchblade knife,
put an end to the fabled Easter Bunny’s life.
That was very tragic and not at all funny.
He was hopping through the slums without any money.
That was the tragic end of the poor Easter Bunny.

death, easter, jesus, religious, thank you,
I thank you, Lord,
For every drop of blood
That spilled from you
The day that you died.
For every bruise…
For every snap of the whip,
That fell on your back
As you cried.
I thank you
For the mocking and scourging,
And blasphemy that you endured.
For the crown of thorns placed upon your head,
For each nail that tore your flesh,
And the spear that pierced your side,
After you were dead.
I thank you
For being obedient even unto death,
When you had power to deliver yourself.
For humbling yourself by coming into the world,
And dying for us on a cross… the cruelest death.
Lord, I thank you.

Ask
not ! what
Jesus has
done for you! But
what have you lately
done for our sweet Jesus
so today I come to pray
and remember that Easter was
the day Jesus was exonerated
and now sits on the right side of our Lord
Tribute To
The Father
The Son
And The
Holy Spirit
{Amen}
Happy Easter All
