black african american, death, life, loss, love, sad, teen, girl, girl,
One night a guy & a girl were
driving home from the movies. The
boy sensed there was
something wrong because of the painful
silence they shared between them
that night. The girl then asked the boy to pull over
because she wanted to talk. She told him that her
feelings had changed & that it was time to move on.
A silent tear slid down his cheek as he
slowly reached into his pocket & passed her a folded note.
At that moment, a drunk driver was speeding down
that very same street. He swerved
right into the drivers seat, killing the boy.
Miraculously, the girl survived. Remembering the note, she
pulled it out & read it.
"Without your love, I would die."

They hate you because your you
They make up lies and call it true
They're fake behind your back
Hoping someday that you'll crack.
They hate you because your real.
no matter what they say you always heal
They're surprised to see you rise,
That you're not affected by all these lies
They hate you because you smile at them
It shows them that your a real gem
You are always true and do your best :)
Sometimes these haters just cant test
They hate you for no reason
Despite it all, you smile
whatever the reason
At the end of the day
All i'm gonna say
All i plan to be
IS ME

Sorrow is my companion now,
Why do you tears your drowsy?
The happiness you have received,
The realization of the world of sorrow.
Life has listened to me,
Why do you co-exit?
Love you all,
We all hate hatred.
Sorrow is my companion now,
Why do you tears your drowsy?
Everyone broken my heart,
Why do you do me love?
Why do you want us everything?
We have given everything to us only punishment.
Sorrow is my companion now,
Why do you tears your drowsy?
The happiness you have received,
The realization of the world of sorrow.

death, loss, mother, baby, prayer, baby, girl,
Sweeter than a flower special as could be
A little girl softly asleep
Kneeling in prayer singing a tune
Beautiful young one baby girl
See her face glowing
Know that she's going to a better place
Surrounded by angels
Near the pearly gates
Safely in the sacred arms
Looking up at Jesus face
Sweeter than a flower
Special as could be
A little girl softly asleep
Close your eyes right now
See her going
To a better place
Your little baby girl

boyfriend, dark, daughter, death, father daughter, girl, murder,
My daughter is dying and as I'm praying, I'm pleading.
She has been stabbed and I can't stop the bleeding.
An ambulance is on its way but it may not arrive in time.
My daughter wouldn't put out so her boyfriend committed this crime.
If you're wondering how many other people he'll stab, the answer is none.
I'm so enraged that I blew his sorry head off with my sawed off shotgun.
My daughter just died and tears are rolling down my face.
She died for being a respectable girl and it's a disgrace.
(This is a fictional poem)

anxiety, autumn, beauty, child, death, mystery, night,
There's a girl in the graveyard that never seems to leave.
She hangs like dust in the autumn air.
She has beautiful flowers and tangles in her hair.
When it seems she's right there, she's nowhere.

Give me drink, rest, and solitude—
these are all the things I long for;
give me as well your finest food,
and I'll ask of you, lass, no more!
My lovely lass, what's the matter—
why are you all down and alone?
Don't be vexed because you're sadder
than most, dear, for God loves His own.
Sweet girl, I'll tell you a secret:
if I were a young lad again,
I'd chase you for your sweet asset.
But as I am two-score and ten
years old (with wife in deed), never
can I be your white knight with steed;
but your sadness won't last forever,
if you pray for the one you need.

death, girl,
And then we have Red Riding Hood
That girl was sure up to no good
For she laid a trail
Her granny to nail
By a wolf as she knew he would
Then this little girl had the nerve
From everything I could observe
To have him done in
Because of his grin
She didn’t get what she deserved
No, she got her very own story
A heroine in all her glory
Instead of thanked
She should have been spanked
For it was a story too gory

addiction, bullying, death, deep, depression, society, suicide,
Cut your wrists,
And hope to die.
I think it's time to say goodbye.
Just close your eyes and go to sleep,
Before they can hear you weep.
Your heart was beating,
Now its not.
Covered in blood,
You were gone.
You made the pain go away,
And ended your life that rainy day.
Your eyes were glassy and misted,
Your body unmoving and listless.
You left us without a doubt.
They pushed you over the ledge,
And you killed yourself with the razors sharp edge.
"No one cares" you thought
"Not even if I'm dead."
You were right,
They don't miss you.
Just another life down the drain,
No one would ever know your pain.

Dirty rotten scum
to take the life of an innocent one
torn away from my childhood
but not yet thrown into adulthood
you've given me a life of pain
certain to only knowing, that never
again, will the days be the same
but I have found my new freedom
here, within these mighty walls
known as Gods kingdom

abuse, addiction, corruption, death, emo, feelings, girl, grave, life, loneliness, longing, lost, sad, self, sick, society, sorrow,
Step after step I move forward.
Into the abyss,
Into the pit
Black, thick, silent,
The pool is filled
Yet the tar is so bleak and empty.
Fully submerged there is nothing,
Nothing but me
Nothing to smell hear or see
So I focus on me
My weaknesses
My faults
My mistakes
I feel all the pain as the air leaves my lungs
As the pressure of all that I’ve done bears down upon my chest and back.
Bones bend and muscles contract.
That last bit of air
Right before sweet eternal sleep
Escapes into the darkness
And for that moment the pain stops and the pressure fades…
I am cold.
I am lost.
Floating back to the top…
I inhale
And life is restored…until next time.

People were
Many things.
Strange or not
People were
Different and
Odd and fun.
People were
Monsters but…
That’s not all
People were
And still are
Strange and odd.
People are
People. For
life is life.
Yet not.
Not is lies.
Truth seeps from
Every mouth
Lies, lies, lies
Move, move, move
But somehow
Lies prevail.
Lies are life.
Lies are death.
Lies are homes.
Lies are pain.
Lies are truth.
Yet somehow.
Truth prevails.
Truth is life.
Truth is death.
Truth is home.
Truth is pain.
Truth is lie.
Truth is that.
Lies will die.
Lies will cease.
Nevermore.
Truth will live.
Truth will be.
Forever.

I will grow old
I tremble in the cold
None to care
I have nothing to fear...
But my love is alive
Though I strive
Beautiful roses to pluck
Yet I am stuck..
I grow old with wrinkle
Yet I will kinker
You will always remain in my mind
This is how you will find...

Oh sea of love!
How bitter the mem'ries I have!
This place reminisce the pain
Of not seeing my love again.
Your birds up high
Remind me of his goodbye.
Your water so deep
Makes me yearn and weep.
So let your breeze blow,
And dry the tears that flow.
Let your waves take away
The griefs and sorrows that stay.
Oh sea of love!
Erase the mem'ries I have!
Wash them out of the blue,
Take them away with you.

cat, death, grief,
Hello, my name is Pearl Smudges and I am a cat
I live in a beautiful apartment in an old building
With My Girl and until recently Violet Patches
One day My Girl got the cat carrier out
She put Violet Patches inside and left
When she came back the carrier was empty
And she was weeping
I rolled myself up in my blanket for three days
Slowly, sadly we are coming to terms with our loss
The end of grieving is just within reach

Petals wilting, one by one,
Falling where they may
Still burning with insanity,
And pain that's here to stay
Petals falling, one by one,
In the hands of strong desire
Burning in a heart of passion,
Only filled with fire
Petals falling, one by one,
Floating down with empty bliss
It's too late to bring their color back,
So say goodbye with one last kiss
Petals falling, one by one,
With only hate, and pain
If only there had been more sun,
If only there had been less rain

Thank you for being in my life,
to think you were only broken twice,
you taught me how not to be late,
and how to get my timing straight,
my mother made you and loved you too,
she stayed up at night to make sure you show true,
I'm not going to say I'm happy you're gone
but i do rue the day you were spawn
now that I'm 18, you've done your job,
I'm happy you will no longer make my heart throb,
with every minute that i am late,
made my life full of hate,
so thank you curfew, and thanks a lot,
now my own schedule will take your spot.

What do I say now? Where do I start?
Without you beside me, I'm falling apart
Thinking of you, know it isn't too smart
But I See You Everywhere, oh my poor heart
Love in her ways
She drifts slowly past me
A spring in her step
Oh she's moving too fastly
Upside down now
She turns my heart and soul
Reflecting in my mind
And in my heart, a hole
Every time she crosses my mind
I'm reminded of the pain
No chance to love her
She'll forget my name
So what do I say now? And where do I start?
Because without you beside me girl, I'm falling apart
Thinking of you, I know it isn't too smart
But I Still See You Everywhere, and oh my poor heart

beautiful, beauty, change, character, depression, emotions, feelings, girl, grief, growth, poems, poetry, recovery from, sad, write, writing,
I'll get better, one day.
I know I will.
I just have to keep going this way,
and try not to fall down this hill.
Sure, I'll fall out sometimes,
but if I don't, how will I learn?
These are the times-
it's strength, I'll earn.
It takes time to get better,
it takes time to be happy,
but I know if I do this with her,
I'll no longer feel crappy.
This is the time to change,
the time to smile,
time to leave this range,
and run the mile.
