death, family, funeral, grandfather, tribute,
Written by Gail DeBole
In memory of my grandfather
Nice Day For a Funeral
I
(You were always old. I can't remember a
time when you were not.)
Cried
(And you had no past before the first time I
became aware of your presence.)
When
(The weather huddled the mourners together.
It was a cold day, but the sun was out to pay its respects, also.)
They
(I huddled with the rest. Echos of
the service left a sad taste in my soul.)
Lowered
(The Rabbi had spoken of you like an old friend.)
Your
(And convinced me of your close
lifelong brotherhood with him.)
Casket.

Wesley Melvin Buchan, also known as Wesmechan,
was a pusillanimous and a good-for-nothing,
although some people consider him a charlatan,
this scoundrel's office runs like a three-ring
circus. Oddly enough, many his coworkers and
classmates fear him no end, like a spider obsessed
with the asphyxia of planets, but the magic wand,
however, whether you like it or not, will infest
your brain and your wallet. Far from being a panegyric
this is indeed a diatribe, injected by venomous expletives,
deserved by this lunkhead, Wesley, a most idiotic
waste of space but I love him, although he's not my relative.

Love is a four letter word
she whispered into his ear,
So is four, as is word
he whispered back into her fear,
Such is "you and I"
cried his heart - she could hear,
Their cheeks hugged, eyes kissed
each shedding a single tear.

My Sins – Zamreen Zarook
Oh God you are so gracious,
Am a guy who have done since in capacious,
At times I have being as a carnivorous,
But it charged ages to identify as dangerous.
Since are being committed behind the screen,
Even it started at my thirteen,
Mirrors used to say that I am evergreen,
Whereas my since were always unseen.
In enormous number I have executed,
But for every count, high privacy was aborted,
Simply because of your blessings we are bracketed,
If not, we are already being quoted.
Oh God, I understood your kindness,
Here after I won’t commit since in others absence,
However much chances I get to access,
I will always have heaven as my address.

first love, grief, heartbroken, how i feel, i love you, i miss you, nice,
Now picking up the pieces,
From a heart full of bruises
Dementia, pain and depression,
Saturate my heart extension.
She was a walking rainbow,
I saw when the sun went low.
She was a rare specie around town,
Which I did not realize until now.
Just like a sugary fleeting vine,
Made she my life a tasteless wine.
Every night I sit and ask the moon,
Why did she have to leave so soon.
I wish I could turn back the clock to gain;
Her, I will be willing to take a bullet, through my brain.

Devouring, destroying, decaying. For your eyes only.
Inside, interiors, innermost. Then reflects on the outside.
Eaten, eager, eroding. Tap it, let it pour.
Disdain, disease, departure. 'Twas been driving you.
...reconciliation, with what is left.
...acceptance, what it offers.
...accord, to what you have become.
Peace, in the soft embrace of oblivion brought through demise.

Sometimes it sucks being the nice guy
the girl you love isn't interested
just friends says she
just friends the next
pain is all I feel
to cover it agitates the wound
it's exhausting
I drive, as far as possible
return still slightly insane
haunted, f*cking go away
I want to cry, but they're looking my way
so my struggled smile here and their
walk away in tears
living in fear

absence, abuse, adventure, education, identity, inspiration, joy, judgement, nice, sympathy,
Those pitiless days 're enough to puzzle the mind
A phenomenal gesture then sued to have downplayed the legit
That even the impartial impact was bandit with words
Not so funny 're those days
That devils 're clad
And ready enough
To poison the soup
Meant for the entourage
Pitiful quill perhaps has taken over his weak wit
And...

Nice Guy
Why be the nice guy when you always lose
My heart gets broken, left with out a clue
What is so attractive about bad men?!
Seems like I'll never know and now must give in.
When you run to me crying from your pain
I'll laugh and smile as tears fall like rain.
I'll push you aside and move on from you
and all the others who played my heart too!
So **** you and whatever comes your way!
you deserve all the *****day after day.
But you can now finally see...
It was you who killed... the nice guy in me

You stick your nose in my business
So, you can listen to my weakness
Am I surprise that you used my weakness
No, not really
Cuz I feel pity
Cuz you thought
That what you heard
Was a good word
To listen
You tellin' me you're a cold hearted
Good, let's get it started
Cuz a cold hearted
Doesn't fall in love
Listen you wanna be a cold hearted
That's what you wanna be
I got a weakness
Yeah, I struggle
With my troubles

sympathy, teen, thank you, uplifting, nice, nice,
Nothings better than cuddling up with your grandma
And not trying to get your tight pants on .
Nothings worse than being sick
And at baseball try-outs being the last pick .
Nothings better than having ice cream on a nice hot day
Or sitting beach ready to play.
Nothings worse than having to sing a solo
Or playing "Marco" "Polo".
Nothings better than having a friend at your side
Or having a fun time with your friends and getting hit with the nice hot water tide

death, life,
I often think it would be nice
If there would be some rare device
By which the past could be erased
And other years put in its place;
Years in which there’d be no doubt
What life and death were all about.

anger, beautiful, bereavement, lust, meaningful, trust,
I paid the price
For being too nice
Next time I guess
I can be mean
I can be less
I know I'm insane
But I'm not crazy
So much to phase me
And make me see
So you erase me
No more to believe
Now you can breathe
Go away if you wish
It is not my request
And I know when not wanted
I hope I'm not haunted

When a person is responsible,
He takes his worries.
When a person is responsible,
He efforts for his carries.
When a person is responsible,
He cares for his joy.
When a person is responsible,
He thinks life is as a toy.
A person can play,
Until he has hunger,
A person can play,
Until it is lightening thunder.
A person can play,
Until climax suits to him,
A person can play,
Until he has a nice trim.

grief, heart, hurt, lonely,
Give me something to believe
I need someone to reprieve
Me from this life of loneliness
Days are filled with craziness
My brain keeps asking me why
My eyes always have to cry
With wet tears that will not stop
Why can't heaven send or drop
A loving angel for my own
On the long nights that have grown
Into darkened pits of space
Horror on my lonely face
My heart filled with hollowness
I can't take any more of this
I see others full of joy
Holding onto their love boy
Smiles on their caring faces
Going into special places
For the romance, fun, and laughs
As I'm being torn in half
Wondering why love karma is
Keeping my heart down like this

Wouldn’t it be Nice to live forever
David J Walker
Wouldn’t it be nice
she said
To live forever
And never
wake up dead
To live and breathe
and feel loved
We are living forever
he said
No she said
Seriously I mean
Never Ever to die
Every day, he said, is another forever
A forever that will
Never end
An eternity painted with prayers
Waiting to be answered
It’s a matter
He said
of which days you choose
Which days to keep and
Which days to lose
