Snail Epitaph

Fore he only stared
And took up empty space
Because he was slow
With such a slow pace
And Oh, he
Was such a slack
Their is no way that
We could ever
Welcome him back
He just didn't have the knack
For running track'
And those delusions' of
Grandeur were just a silly act
And I knew that he would
Be coming back
For cofee, tea or dinner
With me
Or even a snack
Come home to me please
Please come home soon!
We miss you and are awaitiing your arrival

Not under any suspicious circumstances......

My Snail Do Or Die

My Snail
He sometimes' come about
In the heat of the night
A treat to my mouth
Yes, that is what it is all about
He is out of sight
Though he doe's seem
Too pout
And when it is time
For dinner to come out
He is my favorite garnish
Sometimes' with Trout
Thou he is my friend
Strictly to the end
When it comes to the menu
I just can't wait to let him in
Again, and again and again
